I think a classic example of the lop-sided news coverage of most "news" services was on the day the Concorde jetliner crashed. On that day, the crash was the number one news story for most news outlets. But for The News Hour with Jim Lehrer, the Bush-Cheney team-up was considered more newsworthy than the Concorde crash. I know we all have differing opinions on what's newsworthy. But the fact remains that the Concorde crash is a far more unique event than another round of presidential election politics.
